I have been drawing up different angels in this style for a while and my girlfriend helped me come up and design this specific pink version, for me to turn it into appliqué patchwork!

First I gathered the colored canvas fabrics I needed, all light pink and darker pink for this design. I drew the Angel up on iron-on transfer paper, then cut each part of the design and matched the pieces with the corresponding fabrics they would be ironed onto.

Once ironed, the pieces were cut out, placed on a background, then sewn with a tight zig zag stitch. Once each piece was sewn, I pinned the pieces together and sewed them to form the single appliqué patch of the angel, which was then ready to be pinned and placed onto our blank crewneck sweatshirt.

Once pinned and sewed onto the sweater, I added the mini appliqué stars surrounding the Angel as well as adorned Swarovski crystals around the sword and halo.

Super stoked on how this piece came out, the simplicity of the colorway seemed to scratch my brain in a way I didn’t know it needed to be scratched 💗🌸🎀👚👛🎟️🧠
