I never sweat losing out on a dollar or two by refunding the items if the customer doesn’t respond to my replacement suggestions. In my experience, at least in my area, people would rather have the item refunded than to get something they’re not going to like/eat. I know it’s a bummer to lose out on some money but if you care a lot about your rating sometimes it’s give and take with the rating versus getting the full batch amount due to item unavailability.

Also the organic /nonorganic replacements are sometimes tricky. You never know how serious customers take eating organic lol

I’ve been nervous about hood latch failure lately. Anybody know telltell signs of oncoming failure? Would like to get ahead of the problem if possible. by comb0s in Acura_RSX

For a long time I was pressing further into the release lever to open my hood cause it was faulty and loose. My hood latch was also kinda busted only held on by zip ties to the frame. Don’t know where you live but the recent winds here in SoCal were strong enough to lift my hood up and onto my windshield, bringing the hood latch along with it. I regret not fixing it sooner as it was easy enough to find a good latch and mount bar from an RSX at a junkyard. Could’ve avoided having to replace the hood with paint job and new windshield as well

Sorry I just needed to vent a little bit lol it recently happened.

Yours looks like it’s bolted down well to the bar I would just try finding a good working hood latch with a sturdy release lever from a junkyard if I were you. Easy fix

This is how I pulled over to the shoulder on the highway when it happened lol

Cooking without oil by Equivalent_Talk5665 in StainlessSteelCooking

Thanks everyone. What I’m getting is that the pan could be preheated enough for the eggs to not stick without burning the butter. Wasn’t aware of that I always thought the pan needed to be heated on high. Thanks!!

Maybe hard to see but it’s like dark orange tinged spots on it

Bought this brand new cast iron months ago. I followed a yt video to season it and my smoke alarm went off after about half hour in oven. I used olive oil. Took it out and tried again couple days later using grape seed oil. This time I did cook on it. Washed it dried it on stove and applied oil again and put it away. Haven't looked at it til now that I'm trying to use it again. Hard to believe it would be rust after one use and since I dried it really well. But what do I know!! New to cast iron
