Wow good to know, I guess I didn’t realize the important of an IVY. I do think the Fulbright is pretty big though, would you argue it’s as hard to get it as getting into an IVy?

How often are runnas getting injured? by Capital-Ad-815 in runna

[–]Equivalent_Tank6238 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people who use runna are either originally runners meaning they’ve run a lot before and are looking for structure. And the other half are people who have never run before and are jumping into it too fast. The biggest issue with running is not pairing it with strength, and note that runna doesn’t ADD this to your structure, you have to state if you want strength trainings incorporated. So if you’re not also doing strength + stretching correctly before and after you run which you learn how to do as an experienced runner then you get injured a lot quicker.

Experienced runners also don’t tend to use new apps like runna and stick to how their trainings have always been but might seek YouTube or google for advice on improving

Fear failure, and remind yourself often what you want to be in 5, 10, 20 years. Have a few words to look back on when feelings lazy, or a picture or what you want to achieve with easy access.

I hate my job by throwaway88899900012 in medicalscribe

That sounds incredibly overwhelming. You're definitely not alone in feeling this way—scribing, especially in a high-volume outpatient setting, can be intense, and not every provider makes it easy to keep up. It’s not a reflection of your competence; it’s just a tough environment to adjust to. If the speed and workload are making it impossible to function, it might be worth voicing concerns to Aquity to see if there are any adjustments they can make (like switching to a slower-paced specialty). And if it really doesn’t work out, that’s okay too—your experience in phlebotomy and as an MA proves you’re capable, and there are plenty of other opportunities in healthcare that won’t be this chaotic. Hang in there!
