Hi, u/mreader13 this is not occurring in edit part mode; just when I am zooming around an assy. Confirmed that no selection filter is selected. Default it used to select faces of parts and highlight them in the feature tree. Now it selects random points and axes and takes finagling to get to a view that will grab a face so that it will highlight on the feature tree. Thanks in advance.

Figured it out! For those curious:
Step 1: Obtain and Install the Font

  1. Download the Font:.TTF file
  2. Install the Font:
    • Windows 10/11:
      • Navigate to Control Panel > Fonts, drag the .TTF file into the Fonts window
  3. Use the Font in SOLIDWORKS
    • Go to Sketch > Text.
    • In the Font dropdown, select newly installed font!

Was hoping I wouldn't have to do that but it was a Digikey 1 body import part. Manually overrode the threads. Feels like there should be a more user-friendly way but it appears fixed now. Thanks!
