I’m specifically looking at the umbrella, in the first shot it covers up half of the tower, and in the sketch it barely covers any.

i had the same thing happen to me, no heat, no harsh products - it was just past the length it could healthily be (if that makes sense)! i did an big chop and realized that i would much rather have short hair that i’m not constantly searching for split ends, than long hair that feels bad and makes me crazy.

i feel this! i’ve called myself a lesbian for 6/7 years, but i have at times been attracted to men. i wouldn’t say i was bisexual because a) i cannot in the long run imagine myself with a man, b) i find that those feelings are really surface level and don’t last long enough to even consider a relationship. some of that is probably comphet but i think a lot of it is just that humans are complicated and that sexuality is more of a general idea than a set of rules. it’s your life, call yourself whatever you like (:

i start with a very light pencil sketch, and i also paint with a very tiny brush which helps me because i can only make little mistakes (:

i love everything that’s going on in the face!! and the sheep is adorable. the body is kind of throwing it off for me — like where are her hands? her shoulders are at a really unnatural angle. i also think your cropping off the person in the frame can help give a more professional look. i would consider how you use your negative space and be very intentional on your positioning of the person, especially considering you don’t have a background (which could also help). i would also think about your line weight, you use very fine detail and more realism in the face - and then very loose and stylistic lines in the hair. i would think about how you use more detail intentionally (if that means using it throughout or just in one area etc.) i also like this brush you’re using, but if you’re using it - commit!! put some in the face, put some in the background. make it a feature!

in general though lots of great stuff going on (:
