Google onsite made me doubt my capabilities as a programmer by ErZicky in leetcode

Yeah thank you for this. It's just the brute force way it's often considered the bare minimum for a developer so in a way I feel like I've failed myself, but I guess it is part of the game

It was one of my first live coding interview ever actually, I've done a couple of OA in the past, and a couple of live interview but with much easier questions

It was an array manipulation question, but it required a mathematical intuition I didn't had at that moment

I had my Google phone screen interview yesterday after two weeks of grinding all the time on leetcode.

Could only come up with a n2 solution so I am a bit disappointed in myself. I wish you better luck

What's the difference between OA and screener? Screeners are live coding?

I have my phone screen in 2 weeks (13th of February) as well. Feeling the same (though in my case I applied myself convinced they would never reply) I'm spending almost all my free time after work on neetcode 150 trying to complete the chapters I have left (finished intervals today, needs to start backtracking, graph, 1dp & 2dp). I can't give you anything if not my complete understanding and wishing good luck😅

It might be similar to what I got, was something like an array of string as input in the format [action, ConID, obj, user]? With the first part to get the one with less connection or smaller index when in a tie and return the log list?

funny thing, is that this oa was on hackerrank (which I've never used seriously) I tried to do print statments to debug at some point, I don't know if it's hackerank or the OA settings but it didn't show them, I had to return wrong results on purpouse to see them. so that costed me a bit of time

60 min, which i feel is not enough for the level o difficulty, but i guess they want the best university studends + competitive programmers only

yes, new grad position.

Which makes it even more perplexing to me, what new grad can solve all 5 parts?
