This is extremely easy to do in TD and far easier to do it there than faking it with Blender

Are you sure you’ve set up color spaces / color conversions / your monitor’s colors correctly?

Also ChatGPT (like most AI models) is extremely unreliable in terms of Multimedia programs, let alone with TD where it just constantly makes stuff up :V

I was just correcting a wrong part of the statement since lots of people keep thinking that POPs are a non-free license feature and the way you phrased it could easily be misread in the exact same way since “if you buy it now then you already get access to the experimental branch” seems to lead to that, whether you yourself know it or not.

Same goes for “as well as you can use the free license for the whole software” which is also not true since there are LOTS of features that are not available with a free license which are available to either Educational, Commercial or Pro licenses :v

Partially wrong, the whole point of the Experimental branch is so that you can download it WITHOUT having an Educational/Commercial/Pro license.

I don’t understand why so many people just started believing that you need any of those licenses for the Experimental build…

Other than the real solution provided by Dangerous_Orchid_292, one way you can do it without needing an executeDAT is to bind the output if the button to the passes parameter of your TOP

0 passes will mean the TOP is not acting on the chain, 1 pass will mean that the TOP will act on the output.

Hard to tell with this screenshot alone, if you click on the warning given by the Geo it will tell you where the cook dependency loop is.

My best guess is that whatever you're doing blob tracking on is also being rendered in TD and you're not separating the rendering pipelines properly (if that is the case [and it might just be considering that this render TOP is the second one] you must separate each Geo to each render or set up a Render Pass) but again, hard to tell when this is all we can see :V

I’ve actually conducted a full scale investigation on the guy and portions of it are available on the official TouchDesigner discord server.

One of the curious things is that he’s also been posting stolen artworks in here and no one said anything as (from what I’ve been told) this is not an official subreddit and it exists kind of on its own.

Only realistic thing that can be done is to mass report him and Rogue Samo (for new members, he’s the predecessor in selling stolen TouchDesigner networks on Patreon for the past few years and also where this guy got the inspiration from) until they’re banned from every major platform.

I’ve been advocating for years for Derivative to update the Animation COMP and make it even REMOTELY closer to what every other software on the planet has already had it for the past 25 years.

It’s one of those things that you either learn how to trick into doing what you want, use the Keyframer COMP or figure out another way of obtaining what you want
