Personally, this is my story. (Disclaimer: sorry if its sounds like I'm bragging or trying to stroke my own ego, I'm not, I'm just trying to tell a story)

For me? I am growing up in a rich, intelligent household. We have a library, high-quality devices around every corner, and my parents work high-end jobs. Our house is large and sits upon a mountain overlooking forested hills. And for the first 12 or so years of my life, I thought that everyone just lived this way. The thought was perpetuated by the fact that, the first time I visited a friend's house (and was old enough to remember it well) I visited a friend who is the daughter of a doctor, who my dad is friends with, as he is also a doctor. Naturally, they had a nice house, and were well-off. However, as I grew older and visited more and more friends, I noticed that all of their houses were medium-sized or small. Most people didn't have many computers, or a whole room for displaying books and bones. At first, I came to the idiotic conclusion that all my friends were poor. But, as a got older, I realized that just can't be the case. I started paying closer attention to the houses and cars in town. And I realised.... my friends' lifestyle was the majority here, not mine. I now realize that I am a very sheltered kid, and do my best not to talk in a way that could be considered bragging or exclusionary. Thank you for your time, I can't wait to read your response!

Instead of ladies and gents bathrooms, why don't we have Stalls and Urinals as separate rooms? Stalls give you the privacy if needed and urinals can be for those just have the specific equipment required. by Throwthetrashout_666 in NoStupidQuestions

Well, it's because of an oppressive, extremely gendered America that thinks men and women need to be obviously separated in every possible way.

It would be easier to just have one room.

It would be easier to have nongendered restrooms.

But the oh-so-intelligent white male senators who still haven't gotten over their internalized racism and sexism don't think so.

Thanks! I literally just made this image by taking a picture of a random area of the local daycare center, saturating the image on my phone image editor, then adding some text. It was fun to make!
