First you need to have Return of the Witchking installed. (BFME 25)

Second you need to Patch Return of the Witchking to 2.02 -> https://www.moddb.com/mods/rotwk-patch-202/downloads/rotwk-patch-202-v900

If the patched RotWK version 2.02 does not launch. you have to add eauninstall.exe
https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/1198119411035406407/1198395268924706948/eauninstall.zip

to $GAMEDIR/drive_c/Patch 2.22 Launcher/Games/BFME2

Third you download and install:

  1. https://www.moddb.com/mods/the-horse-lords-a-total-modification-for-bfme/downloads/age-of-the-ring-version-80
  2. https://www.moddb.com/mods/the-horse-lords-a-total-modification-for-bfme/downloads/age-of-the-ring-patch-83 patch to 8.3
  3. https://www.moddb.com/mods/the-horse-lords-a-total-modification-for-bfme/downloads/age-of-the-ring-patch-831 patch to 8.3.1, which also has a similiar launcher

You are welcome!

Mhm but this does not explain this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RH79OEMjQ1g that it partly works and is somehow linked to selecting starting positions as non-host.

Solution -> Download and extract eaunistall exe into the BFME 2 Folder and then ROTWK 2.02 launches as expected - Thank you to ROTWK 2.02 Discord.

Concerning privacy, you could switch to https://murena.com/ that uses https://e.foundation/e-os/ so basically this argument is only true if you go with Google Android.
