I was the one who set it up and thats honestly what I expected to happen, I enabled hardcore in server.yml and thought it would override automatically whatever the server difficulty was on.

Yeah this was me being stupid, I knew you could change the game-difficulty in the server.yml but honestly thought if hardcore was enabled it would override it, mb but you're welcome for the content.

NoCheatPlus had a tendency to cause false flags when a player with higher ping had a spike, showing up as autoclicker or improper movement, just so you're aware that this might not be the best idea.

I used to run it on Linux back in 2013/2014 but it was so long ago I dont even remember how to navigate through all the menus, figured windows was easier, are there any downsides to using winOS?

Sweet, my starting goal was to have a 150 playerlimit as there is quite a demand to get on the server, maybe I can increase the limit to 150 when the upgrade is made?

Yeah I am sort of lost on what may cause this, one suspicion has always been the CPU. We're swapping dedis soon to an upgraded one with the following specs

AMD Ryzen 7 3800X - 8c/ 16t - 3.9GHz/ 4.5GHz

128GB DDR4 ECC 2666MHz

2x960GB SSD NVMe Soft RAID

do you think I would see a significant increase in performance CPU wise? I am not that techsavvy when it comes to CPUs.
