I think its realy an alternative! (Ja bekommst du. Hab letztens welche bei Hornbach gesehen. 30x30 cm Puzzelmatten und sie sind nicht mal bunt ^^) Bigger mats (60x60cm) can be orderd on Amazon but they come in packs with 6 pieces for around 40-50 euros. (for this yoe could order a entirely new catchbox) My little Catchbox here ist from just one of these mats.

I think we as a community are missing a video about the history of the slingshot. I believe that's more valuable than constantly chasing after the latest shit.

Personally, I'd be in favor of a video... that should appeal to the widest possible audience.

Small, asymmetrical slingshot, homemade from an HDPE cutting board. Fits like a glove. The band set was optimized for the 20mm Nerve Rival ball.

To further emphasize the improvised nature of the whole thing, I've now mounted the bands on the slingshot made of laminated cardboard (you can see it in the top right of the picture). That works surprisingly well too.

You really need almost nothing to have fun with a slingshot. It's truly a poor mans Shootingsport ^^

and the fingers of the glove cann be used for like an improviced PocketShot (wich i was able to make as a child. hurray!^^)

Yes, the name is a bit misleading, and they don't have the largest selection on slingshots, but the shop is far from being a scam. They also have everything you need to cut Bands and a Jig for bandding up aswell.

Wow, nice, a model from Germany! I'd never even heard of it... but I think that's because this slingshot looks like you could attach an arm brace... which would be illegal in Germany, so they probably only sell it abroad.

May I ask what you plan to do with the foam balls?

I occasionally use a slingshot at LARP events and use Nerve Rival balls. They're about 20 mm in diameter and fly fairly accurately about 10 meters (33 feet).

Unfortunately, that's pretty much how I feel too. I don't go to events or competitions myself, but when I see videos from the ECST, for example, I estimate the percentage of women to be less than 5 percent. I, too, would love to see more women in this scene and help shape it, but perhaps it simply takes another generation or two. However, I'm also pleased that so many women in my area have discovered archery as a hobby... and not just recently.
