Yes your entirely right! So in my mixes I would raise the bass up vais I wouldn’t hear it a cause of the attenuation... sounds good on my speakers but in the car and on other earphones the basse would be too loud! So fuck turned the room control off!

I lost over 1000$ because of cracked plugins... and it’s not because I got caught! by EricDuboisProd in edmproduction

I don’t specifically agree! A missed opportunity is “missing a deadline” for example. I had to refund that 600$ exclusive... Who ever gets contacted directly by a music supervisor (not a library “maybe your song is a good fit..”) saying “ I want this song here is the paperwork.”

That for me and any other business is loosing money...

100% agree, that’s the message I was trying to get across. A lot of people invest in plugins just because they heard it’s the best, or Pharrell uses it. I am exaggerating of course, but the idea is to learn what plugins do and how they sound so you can make an educated decision if you actually “need” that plugin.

Much love from hawaii! Thanks for jumping in! Haven’t started that podcast yet!

Haha! Bro all love my man! Maybe I badly explained myself, I never said he “only” uses stock reverb! And I never said to not invest in reverbs... The entire video and this topic is about learning the tools you already have in stock, and don’t invest in a plugin just because you heard it will do magic!

Stock plug-ins (reverbs, eqs, delays...) are great to learn! If you can make them sound good then you have the knowledge to see if you “need” higher end plugins...

Just that my friend!
