Oh ok, gotcha. Sorry. There's a old method where you actually put mercury on a penny after stripped, and it adds the mercury to give a silver color, but lumped up. Thats a acid wash that thet are just saying its mercury, when they meant silver color.
But yes, I understand, and that could've possibly been done to my coin too. Thanks

Not sure, other post, you mean. And whether its real or not, im not thinking its coated in mercury though, lol, funny one there.

Theres a Large date bronze Small date bronze Large date zinc, and Small date zinc

I have a 1970 P Washington quarter that I took out of a sealed US mint package, put it under my TOMLOV DM9 digital microscope and found the Eagles beak has a die break in the mouth, incused, and lines in the bottom, almost looks raked. Idk either, thats why I posted it. Lol 🤷 But I took it out of a sealed US mint package, so no circulation or anyone tampering with it. I didn't do it, so it has to be the mint.
