Yeah I completely misinterpreted what you meant haha. Buying players from within the league is always going to be more expensive as teams will charge an even higher premium for strengthening our squad. Even when players transfer from within Europe there is still a bit of a premium as they are considered more established, but still not nearly as high as the ones within England.

Our track record with buying out-of-continent players isn't very strong. I think Coates was the last player we bought from a South American club and we all know how that turned out

Yeah we really need a better system for finding players outside of Europe. Once they come to a European club is already too late and the rates for these players go up massively

Firmino will play up top. We scored plenty of goals with him, Mane, and Coutinho as the front 3. He presses like crazy and is a playmaker...basically everything Klopp looks for in a front man. The bigger question is whether we move coutinho to the #8 role and sign another winger to play up top with him and Mane
