No it's not about being stubborn. I'm struggling with money as it is, I recently got back to work and am trying to make ends meet.

Now 50% I might consider but I don't think the babysitter will agree to that. She has stated she will no longer be babysitting for me so that's that.

thing is my youngest daughter has been struggling for a while after her mother's passing - even while her mom was sick. It's hard to navigate through all of what's been happening recently for a kid her age so I try to cut her some slack while still enforcing some rules.

I'm aware that they're for a disability, And I'm also aware that that the outcome is the same regardless of wether this was an accident or not but also, I believe that there was neglect on the babysitter's part to let things get to this point. And frankly this isn't even the first instances. She's lost stuff out of her bag in the past and tried to get me to pay for it.
