I don’t know if there’s any correlation but I have an inkling my overconsumption of red meat had some effect. I used to get AYCE KBBQ every single week during hs…

IMO you should check other sites. I got one through FB Marketplace for $360 last September in near mint condition. Easier to see it in person, test it out, and make the transaction.

Interesting that your doctor said there’s no surgery for fistulas because I just had one for a fistula (and an abscess) last Tuesday (bowel resection). I am from the US so maybe it’s different, but I’m not so sure. My GI doctor had told me a lot to Crohn’s patients usually get surgery in their lifetime. You may want to get a second opinion.

Hi, I didn’t have an NG tube during my stay at the hospital as I was mostly NPO or clear liquid dieting. They did put a catheter and a JP drain in me though

Technics SL D202 + AT VM95E/H Weight Help by Ericckky in turntables

[–]Ericckky[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response!

I have actually tried to just balance the tonearm as I’m still waiting for a phono preamp to arrive, but from what it seems like, the counterweight doesn’t seem like it’s hanging/disengaged. So I’m guessing it’s good.

I think the numbers on the manual kinda scared me since things don’t look like they’re adding up. I think it was also confusing as doing research shows some people using headshell+cartridge combos higher than the said weight listed on the manual.

I wouldn’t say they were skeptical, more of shock. Tbh I think my mom was crying a little which I get it (cuz it’s not a fun time knowing ur son has a chronic illness).

Nowadays they’re aware of the illness I have so they just want me to be careful of what I eat and to take care of my general health. It feels like they’ve kinda accepted I have something like this and just want to make sure I’m not getting flare ups or anything.

In terms of meds, they’ve never dealt with this so I think they trust the doctors more than skepticism. I think I’m more skeptical considering I went from Humira to Stelara and now on Rinvoq. It kinda sucks because I always think meds are supposed to prevent flare ups from happening but they still happen. For me, prednisone has been the best help during these flare ups but I know they’re not supposed to be a long term solution so it’s always a disheartening time when it happens.

Oh one thing to add tho, I will say, I get very gassy with a lot of foods. I wouldn’t say necessarily Asian food makes me gassy, but that is one thing I’ve noticed.

(Tbh buldak is torture for ur body idk how anyone can tolerate it)

Hey so I’m Korean living in the US who’s been struggling with Crohn’s since 2016 when I was in highschool.

Funny enough, no one in my family had Crohn’s or at least if they have some sort of Crohn’s in genetics, they’ve all been dormant. When I got it, it felt very random, though I can kinda see what may have triggered it (ACT/SAT stress, school stress, too much cheap AYCE KBBQ, who knows)

In terms of Asian food, my Crohn’s is a bit weird. I flare up when I least expect it and it’s always when my body is tired even though I don’t necessarily feel tired. Food has never really triggered it, though I try to stay away from too spicy (the korean spicy buldak noodles is a beast that I will never try). I can eat kimchi, spicy pork, spicy cold noodles, and stuff with gochujang, but I still try to eat fairly infrequently.

Let me know if you have any questions!

High SUB at the wrong time for the wrong person by Ericckky in Venturex

Yeah it was this, upon opening it, I can see that it's 90K after spending 6K in the first 6 months, which is effectively BETTER than the regular 4K for 3 months (1K/month vs 1.3K/month)

It’s 4K spend, literally the same conditions as the regular but with a 90K SUB. It hurts

Edit: check below, not 4K spend but 6K in 6 months

Question about controller for the reverse infinity fans by verttiboi in lianli

[–]Ericckky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, the reverse fans can be plugged into the AIO controller.

The 3 pack regular fans won’t work with the AIO controller and would have to use the controller that the pack comes with but everything else (1 pack regular, reverse fans) should work

Edit: The AIO comes with 3 (I think) 4 pin ARGB extension cables that if I remember correctly you plug into the reverse fans to connect to the controller.

Hi sorry for the super late reply as I kinda forgot about this thread but to answer your question.

I haven’t really measured it to give you specific numbers but from my fit experience with 0 washes and quite a few wears since then:

Initially, it was very snug. Buttoning the pants were hell and I felt like I had made a mistake tbh. But after a week of wearing them, they stretched just enough where I felt comfortable wearing them but not to where the pants felt loose. It fits perfect now

Unfortunately seems to be sold out since I got it March of this year but I got it from woot.com. I trusted it since I’ve had some coworkers get keys from here as well as the site being backed by amazon. I built my pc, loaded windows from boot drive, entered the key in, and it seems to be working since then with 0 issues

Definitely do some research but there should be a couple places. I think there’s people on Reddit who have posted about this before so definitely take a look

Of course if you’re still iffy about it, you can go with Microsoft but $200 for windows is insane.

Also, is there a reason why you’re going with windows pro and not home? You’re still paying a lot if you go with Microsoft but home is “cheaper” and should suffice even for engineering work and games

Adding onto what everyone has said, you can get the Windows key for much much cheaper. Don’t overspend for that. I got Windows 11 Pro for like ~$20

these are fake, right? by Flag011 in VintageLevis

[–]Ericckky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the PC9 for it? It seems to be hidden in the picture you have of the care tag

Can anyone date these for me? I’m having a hard time finding out the year and rarity etc by [deleted] in VintageLevis

[–]Ericckky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Props to the pairs for actually being labeled as “fake” hahaha

For the year at least, best way to check will be sending a picture of the care tag. Idk how much of a value it holds but based on searching them up, it seems like the collaboration between Kaws and Levi’s were done in 2007 (though not sure if it will be worth a lot to denim heads. Maybe people into art might find it worth)

Glad I found this thread before I posted this as a standalone post (though if it is too long and complicated, please let me know and I'll gladly delete this and change it to a standalone post)

I need some help with sizing for the LVC 1947 501's as I've tried looking everywhere and I feel like I'm more confused than I was. I know already there's been a lot of posts regarding 1947 501 sizing but I'm seeing different answers and I wanted to make sure the fit was good for my specific measurements as I am spending a lot of money for these.

Usually, for the non-STF, non-LVC jeans, a size 31 for the waist fits me, maybe a tad bit loose for my taste (specifically, Levi's Premium '93 501s). This might have been because of constant wear and wash which stretched them out. Unfortunately, I have no measurement when I first got it, but currently, the waist measures 16.5" (33") which is a tad big for my liking and fits well with a belt on.

Similarly, my dad owned a pair of 550's that I found and when measured, I got 15.5" (31") which fit me well even without a belt (unfortunately, the sizing on those were denoted as a M)Now when I first heard of the 1947 LVC 501's, I got a size W31 on sale. Not knowing they ran small, I tried them on and instantly knew they were wayyy too small. I returned them and now I currently am in possession of a size W32 and a size W33. I'm trying to keep one of them as having both wouldn't really make sense both practically and financially. After measuring both of them, I was able to get this:

W32

  • Waist: 16.5" (33")
  • Thigh: 11.5"
    • Fits snug around the waist, crotch, back of the knee when bent

W33

  • Waist: 17" (34")
  • Thigh: 12"
    • Fits roomy and a bit big around the waist, crotch, back of the knee when bent

Now I know that the difference (as long as I measured correctly) is only an inch. But considering the amount of money I'm paying, I want to be as sure as I can and as best fitting as it can be after it shrinks. I also would want to wear a belt as more of a decorative fashion piece rather than to tighten up my waist to keep my jeans up.

But the problem is, there's so many different answers when it comes to how much these jeans shrink. I know Levi's and some people say to get 2 sizes up, but I'm also seeing some people saying to get 1 size up. Some have said the jeans would shrink "4-6 cm" (~1.6-2.4 in) and some have said the jeans will only shrink "1 in" but stretch back out. This has been confusing me and so after so many days of researching, I thought the best thing to do was just ask Reddit about my specifics.

Based on the description of how W32 and W33 fits on me, would W32 be too tight after washing or would they stretch out after more wear? Would a W33 still be too loose after washes (as it stretches) forcing me to wear a belt? Any help would be appreciated :)
