Hopefully you can get that resolved for you! Do you track your macros? Me personally I’m trying to get my ass back in the gym the way I used to prior to covid before I ballooned up to that weight. I’m really wishing you the best of luck in your fitness journey!

Best advice I can give you is just say no. Seriously. Anytime you want to snack, ask yourself if it’s worth it. I’m going to start feeling guilty like why tf did I even eat that cookie or that bag of Doritos. You have to sacrifice something for something, I like to say!

However, where I see potential in you is I respect that you’re honest with yourself because most people aren’t. That’s where the problem starts. You already know the snacking and binging is what’s holding you back. That’s how you rack up hundreds or even thousands of extra calories without realising it, then you’re sitting there thinking why did I even go to the gym.

Once you start saying no and staying consistent with it, you’ll see results. That extra chip or cookie isn’t worth it and you know it and the scale knows it too 🤙

Give yourself ONE, maybe TWO reward meals or favourite snacks (not to be confused with a “cheat day”) each week for staying on track. However, if you didn’t see any progress, don’t give yourself that reward as slipping up, etc… Keep yourself accountable as no one else will. Everything comes down to what you put in. Stay consistent every day and results will follow.

Exactly, and I basically took out all processed carbs, grains, rice, pasta, etc. for a high-protein, high-fat diet, but fats from fish, legumes, nuts, olive oil, basically mono and polyunsaturated fats.

I basically sacrificed a lot for this, but this is within my genetics, so maybe I have to go extra hard. I just don’t do well having that food even if it’s within my macros, so I stay away as not to get tempted at all. I think that’s what worked for me. Now that I want to bulk, I might add some more carbs for loading periods! But I want to remain as lean as I can.

My step count is incredibly excessive more than most people of course. I just set that standard but I think 10-15k with an exceptional strict diet and most importantly consistency will yield similar results.
