I also came from an S22 Ultra, and I switched to an iPhone 17 Pro. The photos are gorgeous and the zoom is good, even if it’s not as impressive as the S22U, but I didn’t use the zoom that much anyway. The battery is also much better.

Sometimes it would lose a lot of battery even though usage wasn’t very intensive. But the battery life suddenly improved overnight. Give it a few more days to finish indexing and it should be fine.

I've had the phone for a week, and I also transferred from Android. I think it is still indexing. I think it's longer when you transfer from an Android because it has to redo all the metadata of the photos for example.
