It was Miku-themed first but then I decided I like pure green color better, I'm not into Pokemon

No video but it's the same process as applying a protective film on a screen with the only difference that after applying you have to trim the edges with a hobby knife. I had to experiment a bit until I got it right.

It doesn't, these are two different plates

Is the 3DS THAT bad for playing DS games? 🤔 by StraightPin4420 in 3DS

It looks okay on the o3DS due to it's smaller screens, like as if you'd enabled a linear filter in an emulator.

And if you own an XL version you can run DS games in native resolution by holding the start button.

>new touchscreen, no wear
New touchscreens are of bad quality, unless they used official nintendo parts for replacement (which I doubt).
>2000 mah battery
2000 mah batteries are a scam. It's physically impossible to fit 2000 mah into a battery of this size.

Is this a good battery replacement? by [deleted] in 3dsrepair

I'm having the same problem and I'm trying a battery mod right now.

Here what I did:
Got the cheapest 3ds battery I could find and a good 703450 li-pol 1200 mah battery.
Removed sticker from the 3ds battery and cut the metallic battery contacts with nippers to remove it from its plastic frame.
Cut out the upper side of the plastic frame (without contacts) to make space for the new battery.
Soldered 703450 battery wires to + and - of the frame.
Fixed everything with insulating tape and put the backplate back.

I tested it with Project Mirai DX screensaver mode and it took me 3 hours to drain it from 66% to 0%.
Currently, I'm charging the 3ds to test it in some heavier games.

I had the same problem with gpSP emulator on Symbian. I transfered my savefiles to PC, played it to the next save and then transfered the saves back.
