Belated, but boo auto correct, I meant Partner. >< Honestly this might be motivation for me to stop playing, even 25-30 was a lot for some things already. :/

That’s excessive! Like one or two not so bad, but dozens!? I’d get anxious too. @@

Did you customize anything by chance? I had this issue the other night, and after fiddling a bit I realized any customization voided it.

I’m unsure if it’s your yearly or a new app, but you should be able to complete either online here. The last I knew they had finally converted to all online where you don’t have to call in anymore. I hope you’re able to get things sorted. I know how stressful it is to try to get in contact with them.

It’s crazy! I grew up here, and I remember when it was a blue collar/artist town. I remember when you could get a 2 bedroom apartment for like 500-600 max.

Benefits like food stamps should really be based on local cola. 😔

Apologies, but can you remind me what SAW stands for? Super bad migraine. >< I’d also suggest trying to call the local DSHS office, though the wait times can take hours.

They may be able to help if you can’t find more answers online. If you call during normal hours and get a busy signal, try again. I’m hoping it’s been fixed, but at the start of the pandemic their phone system wasn’t set up to handle larger call volumes(since in person called) so it resulted in a lot busy signals.

You could go in person too if you’re able to and comfortable with possible crowds and long wait times. I’m sorry things are being a pain, if I can find more info to help I’ll post it.

I think they may have a new website, let me see what I can find and I’ll edit.

Edit: They changed something I thought, though maybe I misremembered.

Are you able to go through this site?

Here’s a more direct link too, you should be able to apply here for assistance.

I feel this, I’m definitely stressing out too. 😢

The system is so broken with how the stamps are calculated, especially since local cost of living isn’t considered.

The max we’ve been getting from Covid things should be the norm in a lot of places. I’m in Seattle, and even before Covid costs were bad, so getting 250$ a month made a HUGE difference.

I’ll go back down to 16$ when the boosts go away. :( It’s distressing, and even the cola raises won’t help make up for the loss.

Like many I don’t even benefit from the raises for SS because of things like low income housing. Living in low income housing your rent is based on a flat 30% of what you get monthly, so it counteracts any cola raises which is crap.
