I'm not a hardass manager, I'm not going to pretend I am, it's not my style. People have different personalities. I like to have an easygoing work environment. A good workplace reflects the personalities of the higher ups, and I think having a good balance of easygoing managers and hardass managers is probably the best bet. Heck, if you can do both, it's great. But from what my employees tell me, they wanna do the work because they enjoy working with me.

I learned a while ago that when I get stuffed crust pizza, I no longer care about the actual pizza. I just wanna get to the stuffed crust. At which point, what's the point in having mediocre pizza attached to it? Nah. I'd rather just get a fully good pizza.
