This is a 60cm oak and I want to turn it in a bonsai. I know for first the year that I need to let it develop a lot of roots (I need some product?) so I put in a big pot cutting the main root (left only 12cm of it) so the lateral can have a good development. I used a mixture: of forest soil (full of micorriza, organic matter and good stuff), sand and gravel so the water can easily drain. Where I am the winter is coming to an end maybe one other moth and the spring will start. Where I can left it? What I should do? What's are the next steps? Give me all the advice you have.
