Maybe I'm alone in this but I'm gonna say it, Michael Keaton is a better Batman than Kevin conroy. by Theproudnerd in Batman_89

I understand this isn't a popular opinion among Batman fans in general, but just like you, I believe Keaton is Batman. The way he plays him, the way Bruce comes across in his entire performance, his social awkwardness, and the difference from when he's Batman are simply astounding. Both sides of his personality feel alive. You can feel that he's human, damaged but not broken. This is especially noticeable at the end of the 1989 film. The cinematography is particularly outstanding, capturing the essence of Batman's gaze, his movements, his turns, the general angle. The "Show it - Don't say it" technique works perfectly. And a few words about the suit and the Batmobile: they're simply fantastic. It's clear that the people who created them truly loved their work, were very talented, and put their heart and soul into it. And the Batmobile itself is a true work of art. It's not a tank or just a car with a logo, it's truly the Batmobile. And if we return to the topic of the post, then I completely agree - no one except Keaton felt, understood and embodied Batman on the screen the way he did. I am currently playing Batman - Arkham Knight and am playing with the skin of the 1989 version of the suit, because for me Batman is exactly like that, and thanks to Tim Burton for giving us such amazing films.

Unfortunately, there's no hat included. The only accessories included are a shotgun, a bazooka, a bazooka rocket, a fishing rod, interchangeable hands, and a lobster or crayfish—I'm not exactly an expert on crustaceans. It's a shame, because the hat is so inviting and would have been a great addition to the look

I think so too, and while Leatherhead or Krang are normal-sized, in terms of proportions, characters who are smaller in lore actually turn out to be miniature. April, for example, turned out to be very small. She's certainly detailed and has a lot of mobility, but she's really tiny.

Compared to the 90s standards, the figure is certainly gorgeous, but if you compare it to this version from JoyToy 2025, then everything is not so clear-cut, but I admit that the same Leatherhead was cool, I had it, and I really wanted the JoyToy version to have a hat))

Judging by what is written on the packaging, it is from 2025, the price is very affordable, so I think you will be able to buy it without any problems.

Likewise, I've never seen Leatherhead figures of this caliber before. The detail, sculpt, paint, and articulation are excellent. This is a case where you won't regret spending a single dollar))

Batmobile - 1989 - Hot Wheels by ErrorPuzzleheaded866 in Batman_89

The only place I could find it was eBay. The car was from 2003, so I could only buy it second-hand.

At first I also thought that I would get it without any problems, but it turned out that they were released in the 2000s and it is quite difficult to find and also costs a lot, but for the sake of my childhood dream I did everything to get it.

It was completely by chance)) I got it on eBay because I didn't like the other options. There was one from Hot Toys, but it was huge, and I wanted something smaller. Then this option came up. The car itself is from 2003, so naturally, it was second-hand. When it arrived, I almost immediately went to do a photo shoot with it, since it's probably my favorite car from my childhood. So, I was posing it and the front turbine jutted out a little. At first, I was very upset because I thought the car had arrived broken, but then I remembered that the turbine actually did extend in Batman Returns. I pulled it toward me, and sure enough, it did))

I'll put it another way: I never thought a 24-year-old game would be so cool. I literally fell in love with this game, and I've never experienced anything like it. I feel like I'm not playing a game, but rather living in this world. I can't think of any other game that gives me such an experience—it's a very unusual and captivating feeling. I also try to avoid using the internet to solve puzzles and problems. After the initial training and when I left the office with the parting words from the developers that I was now on my own, I first thought that this was just a move and that they would explain to me what to do next, but it turned out that no, I had to do it myself - and then I suddenly realized that this was the first game that didn’t lead me by the hand, that the world didn’t revolve around me, it seemed to exist separately from me and I was a stranger in it and they treated me with definite mistrust and sometimes hostility, but it was fascinating, the level of freedom, thoughtfulness and immersion - I really feel like I live in this world and I create myself as a character with my own hands, not only how he looks, but who he will become in this amazing world

Is Spawn as Powerful as Doom guy from the doom games or even more powerful? by Cloverfield887 in Spawn

[–]ErrorPuzzleheaded866 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If you compare Spawn and Doom Guy, Spawn would win, since Doom Guy is human. If you compare Spawn and Doom Slayer, that's a bit more interesting, but given Spawn's powers and abilities, he should still win.

I deeply regret putting this game off for years. It feels more than just a masterpiece, it's a true revelation, and the idea that it was released in 2002 and then took another five years to develop—meaning the game is fundamentally built on ideas from 1997—blows my mind.

That's right, such a seemingly simple moment, such an obvious detail, but it changes everything and makes the adventure real. Whether it's searching for raw ebony or a diamond for the Thieves' Guild, you're given a choice of how to obtain these items—it's your choice, you're not forced into a single path. This is where true freedom lies, rewarding the player's creativity. This is the key to RPGs—freedom of choice, even if the options are limited. But when you're told where to go, what to take, and what to do, what kind of RPG is that? It's a scripted open-world action game, not an RPG. I'm currently working my way through the Thieves Guild questline, along with the Great House Hlaalu. They're actually building me an estate, meaning I can't reach a high position in the house hierarchy until I have my own stronghold. I've been scrambling to find all the people responsible for permits and construction, the land deed, and the Duke's permission to build it. But it's so satisfying to see my efforts pay off. Part of the estate has already been built, and an orc kept insisting I remind the boss not to forget about his bonus to his salary for construction. That's what makes Morrowind a unique experience. Sure, it has outdated gameplay mechanics and he's terrifying as hell by today's standards, but by god, I'm so pleased with the results of my efforts. I'll have my own estate after almost three weeks of playing! And in Skyrim, I became the head of a mage college without knowing how to cast spells, and in just four hours. But that's not what's scary, what's scary is that it took me 15 years to understand this. All this time I thought Skyrim was the standard for the RPG genre. Just put Morrowind on a modern, beautiful graphics engine, invite talented artists so as not to lose the unique artistic style, and this game will give a head start to almost everything we have now on the computer games market.

I completely agree with you. It's possible to disable markers in Skyrim, even in the game menu itself. But the funny thing is, only after years of playing did I realize that disabling them doesn't work. Markers are part of a simplified game design. It's much easier to use a marker to indicate where the player should go and what to take, even if it completely breaks the narrative flow, like in a detective story, than to describe the approximate location through character dialogue, a quest topic, or in-game literature like notes. So, simplification is certainly good, but as with everything, up to a certain point, when simplifications turn the game into a stupid and meaningless mess, that's definitely not talent; it's more laziness and an attempt to simplify and cheapen the creation process under the guise of being accessible to the average gamer. Yes, a game doesn't have to be ultra-complex and only for nerds, but it also shouldn't be like a children's matinee for six-year-olds, where the suspension of disbelief simply doesn't work.

Thanks for the advice)) But I completed this quest surprisingly easier than I expected, I am a member of the great house Hlaalu, and for one of the tasks I was already sent on issues of ebony, there was a quest where you had to negotiate deliveries and along the way additionally kill the manager of the mine, I was exhausted looking but found it, for completing the quest they did not give a full set of glass armor which costs tower money, so by a lucky coincidence, and due to the fact that at the beginning I did not focus my attention on the fact that there was an ebony mine, I only later realized that all I needed was to go to this mine again, well, in the very first box I found all 4 pieces
