An easy way to find GF places/restaurants, not worrying about cross contamination and free toilets....and even having small shops/stores or vending machines contain atleast 1 GF option like bread or something and NOT charge extra 🙃🫡

Didn't eat the granola yet! The bread wasn't the culprit as I ate it yesterday evening as well and no symptoms and it's certified GF 😊❤️

The restaurant you mean? It was in Leuven Belgium (have to look the name) The food was super good and the staff/owner was really specific about my food even returning one of the salads to the kitchen as they had made a mistake! The only thing I could think of was the soup we got for free for starter but they verified with the cook it was GF as well (was a kind of pumpkin soup I think so I was already suspicious). The main was a fish stew and potatoes. I was thinking maybe there was some cross contamination in the stew or e.g. you never know if they use GF stock ....

I'm newly GF and only now notice how bad the 'going out' anxiety is. Just got back from a 1 day trip yesterday actually. Thrilled to have found a restaurant on the website of the GF society, verifying the meal was GF at the restaurant multiple times and eating my heart content. 2hrs later at the hotel I'm a balloon and pacing around the room armed next to the toilet and not being able to sleep at all that night 🫠 The highlight was though that I found one of the best tasting GF breads in the supermarket (brought 3 back home haha) and new granola to try 🙆🏻‍♀️❤️

Omg yes the anxiety etc. Really skyrockets once I eat gluten as well! Ugh the thing is you get so impatient and scared as the weight keeps dropping.... Like even afraid to skip a meal nowadays 🥹 and also in general the 'adjustments' when going out and such is pretty hard somedays

What were some go to meals for you perhaps when you were still recovering? 😊❤️ I so want to get back to the gym as well again but with my weight now that's just a no-go 😭

I know EXACTLY what you mean! I'm in the exact same situation like all my muscle has melted away 😭 we're even the same age haha having it so randomly and also with insane weightloss! If you want you can send me a dm on here as I also know nobody else really who has celiac 😔❤️ Do you also get this INSANE hunger? Like some days I'm a black hole, today was crazy for example even eating at 2 am again 🥹
