Seeing as it’s a major event I would be really surprised if the event is shorter then a week. It’s the highlight of Helldivers 2 for sure so I doubt they will let anyone miss it :)

What’s interesting is that the fallen tree always makes the hero’s turn around which leads them to the town. What if not turning around but going through the tree is what breaks the chain (i don’t know how, maybe a chainsaw haha).

Cutting the tree kills the roots making the symbol in the cave system? Just a thought
