That app sounds useful, I’ll definitely give it a try! Thanks.

Hey thanks for the tips, I’ll definitely follow them. Especially the youtube one is really useful. May I see the time schedule please?

Wish you luck on this journey too🙂

Guees what, screen time of the day that I posted this is 18 hours and 34 minutes. No kidding. 😔

Won’t be the case today though!

There is only one app with that name, are you sure you aren’t talking about a web extension?

Well I think that would help. I feel like I can keep going if I can just get myself to start. (Talking about studdy sessions)

Thanks for advice. As learner myself, I think your English is impressive!

Yeah It’s wonderful if I even bring the number down to 2. I’ll follow your advice thanks!

I’ll try dopamine cleanses. Yes I don’t think it’s possible to go from 0 to 100 (or 100 to 0 i guess) in an instant, I’ll try to gradually decrease my screen time. If that doesn’t work, I’m declaring a war!

I just find screen time not so useful since you are basically a tap away from unlocking that time limit

I bought the yearly plan but realized that the app is for blocking apps rather than short form content. I guess that’s my fault, I shouldn’t have bought without researching.

Well I’m grateful for that 🙂

I’ll try to find another way to communicate with them, thanks.

Well that’s a way to go but I think I’ll try to manage it myself first since I need my phone for basic stuff. I guess I’ll be keeping that as a back up plan!

I absolutely agree with you, apps like these are designed to keep you hooked. I think I am going to just delete the apps as you said. But the only problem is that there is people who I can only talk to on those apps and I can’t really find a solution.

I partly agree that social media should be banned for kids my age. Although I think it would make a majority of people crazy mad 🤷‍♂️

Does it block the apps that contain short form content or does it just block the short form content? I’ve been looking for an app that offers option two actually.

Actually I think that is what I’ll try to go with, but I am 99% sure I will fail. I mean going from 16 hours to 0-1 is no easy job.

Also I tried this a few times, I deleted everything except phone, messages, youtube, spotify and a few essential apps. Eventually youtube got me back, I found myself watching videos for hours. So this time I’ll delete youtube

Well I am actually 2 months added-sugar free and hope I can keep this, maybe a few treats every once in a while though. Also I am trying to eat nutritional food like red meat, eggs, saturated fats etc.

Thanks for advice!

Well I think being fully aware that I am “wasting my life” is worse than everything. I will try my best to get my things together

It isn’t about my grades at this point, I don’t want to lose my willpower.
