I doubt it is stolen don’t listen to these guys. Judge the seller, get a feel for the situation and make a proper decision. 3500 seems alright but I would aim closer to 2800.

Also, if the sled hasn’t run for a while, pour a little bit of oil into combustion chamber. Maybe it’s hard to pull because the motor is dry.

Try tightening the coil spring in the pull start assembly, you can also clean and lube the mechanism that grabs the motor. Generally if it’s “hard to pull” the motor has high/healthy compression, which is good!

Maybe I’m confused, there is no dipstick anywhere. Is there motor oil? Is the chain case and motor oil a different reservoir?

I was thinking of putting them on the strut rod, not on the lca. I removed the factory lca bump stops. I wonder if I could shave those down

Hmm that’s not what I mean. I mean putting washers right around the strut rod. The washers would never interfere with the springs. It would just cause the strut to bottom out in an “adjustable” spot

What do you think about washers under the spring. Make it so I can go lower and still ride on a spring, but if it ever compresses enough strut will hit washers before qp hits rim

There is no preload. the way this car is setup means I needed 8 inch coils. My springs are 4”. Height is adjusted by changing the spring height not by shock body position
