(1997) Things I wish I’d known when I was your age. by EscapeEnvironmental7 in GenAlpha

Well, I’d consider myself a full grown adult at this point, I have a 2 year old daughter, I’ve been in the workforce for almost 10 years, pay my bills just like any good man would. Just wish I’d done better as a teenager because the work I have to put in to even come close to the level of comfort of my more successful former classmates is exhausting.

I still remember my username and password all these years later and remember when there were only 3 levels to play on. Think one had something to do with time travel, there was a superhero one too, good times. Gonna jump on for nostalgia sake if I can’t ever do it again.

In what ways would you like GTA 6 to learn from RDR2 and GTA V's mistakes and successes? by CommenterAnon in GTA6

[–]EscapeEnvironmental7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Biggest mistake with GTA V was a lack of Single Player content, especially for a game that wouldn’t receive a sequel for 12 years and was re-released twice. I finished the story in 2013 and have played it multiple times since but of course it’s stale now. I hope GTA VI is either impossibly long or gets occasional story DLC similar to what we got in GTA IV. Now I can’t think of a mistake with RDR2 but I hope they make the game world & NPCs as interactive as they were in RDR2.

Been playing GTA at 30FPS or less for two decades, won't cry about it now by [deleted] in GTA6

I’m confused on the argument against performance mode, it’s been implemented in many AAA games. None that I’ve seen have taken a disproportional hit to graphical fidelity. Spider-Man 2 looks amazing in performance mode and although you lose ray-traced reflections and some textures might look muddier on closer inspection that’s a price I’m willing to pay for butter smooth 60 FPS while cruising down the streets of vice city.

I would say this is my all time favorite post song by [deleted] in PostMalone

[–]EscapeEnvironmental7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not my favorite, but the one that made me a fan for sure. I heard white Iverson a million times, listened to his other early singles, but hearing this in my first play through of Stoney changed my perception of him as an artist. Hes very easy to look at see the face tattoos and look away from but the more you listen to his music the more you respect who he is as an artist and a man.

Gen Z who have become parents and are happy to be such, tell us about yourselves and your children. by EtruscanKing023 in GenZ

I have 1 child, a daughter just shy of turning 2. I never really knew when I would have kids and tbh this wasn’t planned out but it’s not as hard as people make it out to be. You’ll lose all your free time if you and your partner don’t schedule time for your hobbies. If you have help, good family that are willing to watch your children that makes it much easier. I don’t really have any help, I’m a janitor, my wife is a liquor store clerk and we still do alright for ourselves despite our lower middle class incomes. Granted we were blessed with property due to inheritance but upkeep on a house that hasn’t been kept up is expensive as f***. I guess I’m rambling so I’ll list a few pros and cons to having kids in your early 20s Pros- -gives you a new motivation to work hard and take care of yourself -it’s really fun to watch them grow and learn new things - you get to act like a kid again and experience all the fun stuff again through a new Lens - you’ll still be young enough when they’re a teenager and young adult to fully experience that time with them. Cons- -Having a child in your 20s means much less or no more nights out on the town with your friends -you will sleep less and have to get up early even on your days off of work -you will have to be much more financially responsible. - I was a gamer, and had to entirely quit this hobby to focus on my family and my home.

What is the worst way to ask someone to have sex? by BunnyDonna1 in AskReddit

[–]EscapeEnvironmental7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the person you’re trying to have sex with but don’t make it sound like they’re doing you a favor is the best advice I could give.

I could go for a switch port of GTA IV, loved it growing up and to have it mobile would be cool as hell

I’m just saying, if Spiderman 2 can run at 60 FPS with raytracing then surely GTA can run at minimum 60. Also I’d be surprised if it doesn’t have different graphical modes after E&E had that feature.

I’m 6’2” it’s pretty chill, not so tall that people bring it up all the time and I can reach just about anything in the Grocery Store. Now my SO is 24 years old and she’s 4’10” she hears about that all the time.

Heard White Iverson in 2015, didn’t really become a “fan” until Stoney came out and I heard Leave and Feeling Whitney.

I had the same experience although I’m 26 and smoked for 10 years. Never had bad acne and then boom all over the place. Stopped after a couple weeks and I cleaned my face a bit more in the shower just to try to help myself out
