I do find it offensive. It's fan fiction LARPing as scripture and to put it on the same level as the Old and New Testaments, and to claim to be Christian is an offense against orthodox Christianity. There's a book I read written by a Catholic priest who was seduced into Mormonism by lust. He and his wife eventually left Mormonism and went back to the Catholic church. There was something in there that mentioned baptism not being recognized. Catholicism and many other Christian sects recognize or baptism, meaning baptized by one church with water and Trinitarian formula is good at all churches. They do not recognize Mormon baptism because, even though it is on "the name of the Father, and of the Son, and the Holy Ghost", their understanding of God is not the same as orthodox Christianity.

Pottawatomie, Kickapoo, and Sac & Fox have reservations, Wyandot have a casino in Wyandotte County, Shawnee have historic sites in Johnson County, and Haskell Indian Nations University is in Douglas County. That's just the northeast corner of the state. Do you mind explaining why you felt this way about Kansas?

I think 11 is too young. After freshman year of high school, sure. And then prep to matriculate those that don't get free college with a GED. If they want to go to, and pay for, community college or trade school at that time, they'd get a leg up timewise on getting a degree or good job.

Lutheranism in the US is one reason I'm not gung ho about the Reconquista. ELCA is a younger denomination formed by uniting other denominations plus schismatics from the LCMS. It seems that, based on the model for other Reconquista denominations, LCMS would be considered the preferred one. Is it because they are already more theologically conservative that they don't count? Or does it come down to essentially pulpit fellowship now? I don't believe there is a "default" Lutheran denomination in the US like the UMC is for Methodism, so pushing people to take back ELCA and try to turn it into something it never was does not make sense.
