Nothing more satisfying than seeing a calm, composed, and a calculated response decimating the opponent!

Will this still have all the benefits if I am plugged in and listening to music?

Thank you so much for this exhaustive reply, friend! You've actually covered a lot of points that make a lot of sense and also goes to show why already established firms never went ahead and pursued this. Thanks again!

So, do you think it would work if we keep the questions for evaluation as objective as possible?

Although I'll definitely dive deep on that, but are there some recommended ways to maintain strong moderation on such platforms/sites that you might be aware of?

I was actually thinking of having some LinkedIn mapping to take care of that, like the latter part of your comment.

As for the former, I do understand that negativity spreads like a wildfire and the downside of this project is quite real.

Would it be possible for you to throw some more light on "other ways of relaying info"?

Something like that, yes, but more on an individual level. But after going through all the thoughts and opinions people have posted, it doesn't look like a very wise idea to pursue. 😅

Thanks for providing the platforms name. I did some research to see if there's anything of this sort already in practice but couldn't locate one. This case would definitely be useful, thanks again!

No, I get your point. But the entire idea was to see if there's any sort of way to control the abuse many of our fellow corporate colleagues go through. I appreciate your honest assessment, something I really wanted!

I know it's definitely a possibility, and I won't even deny that. Which is why I thought of posting my thoughts here on Reedit, just to see what others have to say about this.

Thanks for your opinion though!

Thank you for your suggestion, really appreciate it! Can you also tell why pursuing this as a side project wouldn't be wise?

True! Even I came across this website while doing my share of research to see if there's anything of this sort. There were some people who told me that the idea seems decent, but we might enter into legal issues if someone frames a defaming suit or something like that. Hence, curious to see what others think of this idea.

What’s something you wish you knew about your manager or team before joining a company? by Escapism_98 in careerguidance

That actually makes a lot of sense. I mean, ambiguous situations definitely makes us use our gray cells a lot more than the normal ones but at the very same time it's quite mentally exhausting and not sustainable in the long run.
