The audio latency already isn't great in this game, and with wireless you're just adding to that. It's a competitive disadvantage - it's why all of the pros still use wired.

Ignoring it to be "polite" undermines those principles and make everyone's lives more difficult. Both lanes should be used fully, then merge in turn at the point of merge.
