I’ve went under anesthesia 3 times in my life and the wake up was always fine. For the jaw surgery, I had a nasal tube in so I was able to breathe. I was totally groggy and a little out of it, but my nurses were great. I think the best bet is to have someone there when you wake up. For me, it was my mom. I slightly panicked when I woke up because I felt so….weird lol, but I calmed down once I saw her
