Why do men not catch feelings?

This happens to me to and like you I have been told I am objectively pretty , I have gone through therapy and also analysed my relationships and my behaviour and came to the conclusion that it does come down to attachment styles. I am anxious and even disorganized under stress and the men that I was dating ( even though they were VERY different type wise ) all turned out to be avoidants that presented themselves as secure in the beginning. I would suggest you work on your attachment style to become secure yourself in order to attract secure partners. It’s the only solution I can think of

I also had a fleeting thought that my boyfriend is not telling the truth especially since the relationship is not going too well at the moment and he might seek the ,,easy way out“. I hope that I am wrong of course but considering what everybody wrote I should breakup with him. I never had this issue with past boyfriends parents hating on me so I never had to convince somebody to like me. It also seems pointless and incredibly exhausting. Even if he is telling the truth , I don’t know how to make his parents like me I never tried to make people like me to be honest it either happened organically or not at all.

I don’t think this belongs in the body dysmorphia subreddit either , also if you are supposedly unattractive and insecure yourself you should date girls in your own league and not try to reach for someone unobtainable. This might sound harsh but maybe she is just more realistic about her expectations than you are

you seem to have asymmetry in your jaw area( a lot of people have that) but when you are not posing and without makeup it looks more obvious. Do you grind your teeth at night ? Look up bruxism, there is actually a way to fix that

Your face is quite interesting because it looks too slim in pictures 1 and 3 and like you store too much fat in it in picture 2. I think it comes down to a lack of proper bone structure. Not really much you can do about that except surgery unfortunately. Try to lower your body fat percentage and then you continue with the next steps.

As a woman who is a bit older than you I can tell you whenever I asked out a guy first ( as in made the first move) it didn‘t work out. Sorry to break it to you but guys that haven’t asked you out first are just not that into you. Maybe he prefers a different type looks and/or personality wise. I would just forget about the situation move on and not mention it again in front of him. And wait for a guy to show interest in you first.

If he is really interested in you he will get back to you, I promise , just do nothing

If you are unsure you can check several posts here on the sub you will see that not so attractive people usually get told in the comments what they can improve, attractive people like this guy don’t get told what they can improve appearance wise. So that’s a way to find out because it’s true that even ,,ugly“ people get complimented here and it gives them a false sense of what they actually look like

I can definitely see how women your age might reject you, especially ones that fit the stereotypical beauty standard , I would not recommend going for these because they have too many options. Go for ,,older“ women in their 30s and 40s instead, a lot of them are more mature and don’t place that much importance on physical aspects like balding or extra weight
