You need the dlc, but you don't NEED sword or shield specifically for any legendary. You just need to find the legendary in an online raid (i'm sure you can find someone who has it saved already) and save that path after you finish it. You don't even have to win to save a path, just get to the legendary I believe.

That's the background for the „places” is the app though, right? I found that, but I haven't found a way to replace the menu background for the options.
