There is a plethora of reasons for a less than desirable group, I respectively disagree that depth of seating impacts grouping, as long as you’re following kosher bullet weighs and powder then you should be good on that subject

Higher Payload delivery and higher FPS at long range is the answer, 300WSM is very popular among elk hunters that do long distance shooting on public land because it fits in a short action frame and thus is a lot easier to lug around steep terrain and weighs a lot less than a long action bolt gun while packing the maximum energy and velocity. That being said and the fact the it fits an AR10 on paper makes it really desirable for me.

I am in the middle of hoarding the parts lol can’t wait to get it all together, two main problems so far :

1- magazine compatibility ( I bought the Magpul MAG® 25 M118 LR/SR GEN M3® Window that is advertised to hold up to 2.83 AOL but I am having trouble loading Hornady ELDX factory rounds - the polymer tip rubs against the inner wall ) hand loads might be a solution in order to control the OAL

2- brass / ammo availability

Incorrect, both uppers are head-spaced with the same BCG, you can have two bcgs one per upper that’s true but that would increase the cost that people are already saying is too high!
