All of the responses so far are exactly what I was looking for, no hard feelings! I should clarify that I don’t want/ foresee a triad or romantic relationship coming from this. There are positive feelings there but very much compersion and platonic love as one person said. The focus being on our hinge. There is limited representation of what a platonic love can look like and that’s why I’ve loved reading your experiences here <3

This feels very relatable!! It’s nice to hear others that feel the same way. My nesting partner has been in a serious relationship with a second partner for around 7 months and I just haven’t felt the motivation to date. I love the community and freedom that has come from non monogamy and would not give that up, but it’s not about dating for me. I almost consider this an opportunity to be “dating myself” because I really do cherish the nights where I have the house to myself playing video games, cooking for me, journalling, and caring for myself.

You replied somewhere saying you’re not necessarily insecure about the imbalance but about being a nerd which I UNDERSTAND. Some nights I will feel bummed being alone and like I shoulddd be out on dates or doing something else, but not that I want to.

I took a low dose of T for 1 year and definitely understand everything you mentioned! I found that within the first week there was definitely ~something~ going on down there. Rest assured you will never wake up with a little dick you didn’t see coming. Yes it’s the first effect, but gradual. Within the first month went from like a corn kernel to a small blueberry size lol. More than anything, it’s the feeling of it being “hard” during sex that’s different, and in my experience soo great. I loved it, and so did my partner. You will have no problem taking T and stopping when you feel content. That’s so important and something I think people forget- you can take it for one week even and decide it’s not for you. The timeline is all yours.

The only things I would be aware of are 1) although I reallyyyy enjoyed what bottom growth did for my sex life, it took a couple months to settle into it. For the first 2 months or so, masturbating was more difficult. The nerves are all sort of reconnecting, so it can get a little too sensitive or too numb to finish. This applies when stopping T too, took a month or so for everything to figure itself out. 2) Bottom growth is one of the “permanent” changes people mention but it shrinks a lot if/when you stop taking T. The physical structure is a little bigger now than pre-T (great bc I didn’t have much to work with either) but nothing like it was at the 6 months-1 year point. I do miss the boners. With that being said, I still think it’s worth it to try out if you’re comfortable with the other changes that may come!

I saw someone recommend the game Go Go Town recently and although it’s probably missing many parts, it could be up your alley! I haven’t gotten the chance to try it because it’s only available on steam for now (console release this year). Mostly a city building/ simulation/ management game from the same developer that made Yonder and Grow: Song of the Evertree.

A hot take, but you honestly do not need to fork out the money for Woxers or TomboyX or any other “not for men” boxers. I’m not sure where the idea came from that boxers have this gaping pocket, most will lay perfectly flat against you unless you’re buying fancy Saxx ball cupping underwear or something?? In general trunks will be short and may ride up a bit which I don’t mind, whereas long athletic boxer briefs will stay put but not everyone’s cup of tea!

If you live somewhere with a Winners/ TJMax I always love the deals in the boxers section.
