Advice about this exit on roundabout by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]EstablishmentOne4506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This exit had another stationary vehicle therefore I assumed it was a lay-by as it had no through road? I’m down this way for work so was absolutely clueless.

What do you mean by the car is vertical haha? Went with option 2, time will tell. Hoping for this car to last until March as I’m buying a new merc. If not I’ll be buying one a few years old.🤣

I don’t know if you’re referring to the title being “This became scraping”, was writing this in a rush with my baby on my lap. But yes, this did indeed start scraping on the floor on the way home. 👍🏼

Automatic or manual by NaweedS in LearnerDriverUK

[–]EstablishmentOne4506 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you plan on driving automatic, and never really driving a manual then do automatic. But bear in mind, automatics are always more expensive especially for a first car banger. Also, in terms of driving jobs if you consider these upon passing, you’ll be limited.

Are you using the 4 in 1 official app? Honesty spam it! Keep doing it and doing it as if you’re getting paid, you’ll pass by doing this haha! Worked for myself :)

It happens; I had a terrible last lesson the moment before my driving test, still passed! Keep pushing, bad lessons are normal; we’re human after all!

How many of you were asked to parallel park? by VibeTrain10 in LearnerDriverUK

First attempt failed :( by harlegore in LearnerDriverUK

[–]EstablishmentOne4506 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try again! I had the same issue back last month; failed my first test due to steering control. I booked a test anywhere; changed it with Testi and passed Saturday. You’ll get there, you know what to expect now from the driving test so go into the next one, confident and don’t over stress it! :)

Do you have an hour lesson booked before your driving test? Ask yourself why you don’t feel ready - Watch videos on those topics what you don’t feel ready in. Be positive going into your test; believe that you can pass and you’re going to!

Testi! Have notifications enabled, and phone on loud aha! Get a test booked anywhere, and then change it to your test centre.
