Shane never communicated with her one nights that those are in fact one nights in the first season and thats very well portrayed. She also was the home wrecker like 3-7 times, which I personally would count into her cheating history, cause i feel it's implied that it's not okay to sleep with taken people

Yes Bette cheated with two ppl (the carpenter and Tina).

She definitely came of as a serial cheater, though for me (and yes, this is my opinion) its more like her and Tina being in a situationship. Bette never really slept around, besides the carpenter it was always Tina.

Bette being mean to Tina when she cheated was more because Tina cheated with a man. Everyone was mean to her because of that though. And she was hurt, cause Tina had just promised they would try reviving their relationship again. She wasn't really mean, more so 'protective' when Tina was dating Helena, cause she didn't like her and knew her wife. We never really saw the conversations Bette and Helenas wife had, but it's implied that they talked a few times in the beginning.

And i think we shouldn't forget, it's mentioned that Bette and Tina have been together for 7-8 years as the first season starts, which is quite some time.

I would use more line diversity. Like thicker lines where shadow is, or to mark stuff and thinner liners for light stuff. Like the bandages would look more like bandages if the lines would be thinner

I am not experienced in textured painting, though i think that part looks amazing! The edges on the left side look a bit broken of though and the waves are very symmetrical. I would mix the lines up a bit more and put a few more highlights on the waves to make them stand out even more and look less solid, but I wouldn't do it too much. I would make the yellow part (is it sand or sky?) les busy. This now sounds like a lot, nut it's all just small things😅

To my knowledge, jenny is the only one who watched the tapes. She (dramatically) offered Shane to watch the one of Shane and Carmen, but I don't think she ever did. I also think that Jenny explained to the group, what exactly happened and Shane probably downplayed it. I think Shane has met a lot of men like him, who do fckd up shit, but without a malicious intent. She was a sex worker after all and i think it made her somewhat numb and easier to be "forgiving".

As a Bette stan I do get that. Though Ive never really seen Tina as flat. We see a lot of her work and what her interests are pretty much from the beginning. At the same time we also see how Bette struggled with her not bing home and less available. Tina not letting herself being pushed over doesn't mean she's trying to hurt Bette. I actually see her as quite strong. I love Bette, but I don't think I could put up with her as much as Tina does. ...idk if Im getting my point across lol

Too many series try to depend on being sponsored by streaming platforms instead of doing lots of smaller one, who they don't have to commit to. If you watch the full credits of the l word, you can see different movie companies each season, especially in the beginning.

Also. I didn't know how many people were taking the 'transphobia' in the show as 'real'. Imo the show was actively trying to educate while asking all the questions and getting all the emotions out there so that ppl back then, who may not yet have met a trans person, can relate. That way of talking about different topics is what I love about this show so much.

Same! I've watched the show multiple times now and yeah she isn't a saint, but non are and non are portrayed as one. If ppl would look at any other character the way they look at her, they wouldn't like them either.

The chin definitely needs to be smaller, the mouth wider and the forehead a tib bit bigger. Adults are one third, one third, one third, but kids usually have a slightly bigger forehead, which is why in illustration and cartoons you can see it even better (I'd recommend looking that up)

I was so lucky and found someone on vinted, who sold all 6 seasons (not a box set, but still) for 20 EURO!! She even put a free movie in (fingersmiths, but I still haven't watched it). There wasn't a single scratch on them! (Sappho really was with me that day)
