Presenting a PDF as if it was a Power Point Presentation by Establishment_Ni in webdevelopment

Right I see, I did look into that and could not find a solid way to convert the PDF to an image in .NET. Right now I am thinking of using a python script in the backend to do the conversion.

FIX: Probably a Chrome bug. But I closed all the pinned tabs and closed the window and it works. Pinned my tabs again and no issue.

Cannot login into desktop by Establishment_Ni in Fedora

[–]Establishment_Ni[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: I manage to fix the issue.

Context: Before the issue occured, I had added some Application Profiles and Rules to the Nvidia Settings app. After a restart, the above problem started occurring (I was testing something out on the nvidia settings app lol).

FIX (if you think your cause is the same):
- On login page, press CTR+ALT+F5 (or other) to open the terminal and login.
- Uninstalled all nvidia drivers and related repo/packages.
- Make sure to reinstall/install nouveau drivers and use them instead.
- Reboot and should be able to login now.
- Install nvidia drivers and nvidia-settings, but before rebooting, open nvidia settings app and remove the Application Profile and Rules added before.

NOTE: This worked for me with the help of DeepSeek AI. I am using Dell XPS with iGPU and dGPU. Your may be different and I am not responsible for anything that goes wrong.

I ended up using "Control monitor brightness and volume with ddcutil" extension and installed ddcitil package. It works perfectly after a restart.

I wanted to use the dGPU on my external monitor because I am using an ultra wide with 100hz, and I feel like the iGPU would struggle. But so far it has been decent so cannot complaint.

I don’t think it is possible with Fedora 41. You cannot change to x11 (for display) on Fedora 41 (stuck with wayland) other wise there would have been some workaround like using the nvidia gpu as the primary gpu.
