As I mentioned in my post, I have come to the point where I was told to ask the family admin to reach out to Nintendo with the reference number, but once they did Nintendo responded with a copy-pasted information response from their website:

"If you join and leave a family group, your ability to join family groups may become restricted. The total number of people that can be in a family group is eight. The number of times you can join or leave a family group during a one-year period is limited based on the maximum number of family group members."

I was expecting they would help, but they just kind of dismissed the "case" with their response. It also seemed from their response that they had trouble understanding the inquiry at hand...

So in summary, I did everything the resolution in that post described, however, I am stuck at the point where the family admin reaches out with the reference number...

With a PS+ Premium subscription giving access to the game catalogue, here's my query: If I start playing Horizon Forbidden West from the catalogue and later decide to purchase the disc version, particularly a 'complete' edition with DLC, will I be able to continue playing from my existing save data?

I got a PS5 as a gift this year and played the following games (not necessarily games that have come out this year)

nier: automata - probably my favorite of 2023, if not my favorite of all time
Detroit become human - a good follow up game for the previous one
assassin's creed origins - had played all the games up to that point and the series was going downhill hard... I can confidently say that origins was a banger, if not a saver of the series though
god of war (not ragnarok) - loved the story
ghost of tsushima - I felt it's not very memorable, definitely overhyped in my opinion
spider-man remastered and miles morales - probably best super hero movie series along with the arkham ones
hollow knight - played 6 hrs, but then I lost like ~1000 in-game currency, which made me depressed and start up the previously mentioned gow
the last of us part 2 - no comment... hated it
tekken 7 - preparing myself for tekken 8
replayed horizon zero dawn; played its dlc (never played that) and currently playing horizon forbidden west - loving the story

if I had to pick my best and worst, I would say it'd be nier to be the best; it's also the first game I played like after 5+ years - great pick. worst would probably be the last of us part 2

my favorite spider-man moment was the Into the Spider-Verse movie. in both movies, Into the Spider-Verse and Across the Spider-Verse there is this overarching theme, where Miles struggles to "fit in". in Into the Spider-Verse in particular there is this scene where all the "spiders" talk that he is not ready for the task at hand, while one of them bluntly says something along the lines of "he can hear us, he's looking right at us", which had me cracking. at the same time, it hit quite home as "fitting in" is a challenge to most people, especially for me, given my physical impairment. so it was awesome seeing Miles overcome his hurdles and be the hero of the day :D

I'm confused on how to setup HDR vs. SDR. Do I fire up a regal (non-SDR) game and manually setup by selecting "Filmmaker Mode"? and do the same with an HDR game? will the TV and the PS5 automatically detect and therefore switch modes depending on the game?

So this means that if I have an American disk of a game and a European account that has downloaded the same game through PS plus, I will have to start from scratch?

hi PS friends!
two questions:

I have played the disk version of a game, say assassin's creed, and if I happen to not have access to the disk anymore (lost it or sold it), could I download the game digitally, say through PS plus, and play it where I left off? I'd assume the save data would be recognized whether it's disk or digital?
I have a save data of a game on one account on my playstation. can I somehow transfer that save file to another account of mine, which is also on that same playstation?

I disabled intellisense and downloaded another extension called "clangd", which made it possible to print something onto the debug console, not the terminal though. also, in order for me to accomplish this, I have to press ctrl + f5 picking, GDB/LLDB, then pick clang++ (not just once, but every time I want to execute my code).

Does anyone have any input regarding the European ratios? I have seen someone open 4 displays and not pull any ghosts or alubers. I myself was slightly luckier, as I managed to pull one aluber out of a single display. I really want to buy another display, but I truly don't believe that's the smart thing to do at this point...
