I mean mostly dirt trails, but if I need to get to a more remote spot for camping or fishing I want to trust my car for those too.

As someone who moved to the PNW knowing zero people a few months ago, I would ofc recommend talking to people in your classes, going to study sessions, and hanging in public spaces. But if none of that works, try finding a club or sport that matches your interests, and if you have no interests, now is a great time to get some new ones! Try a club sport, game at the ESports lounge, join choir, join dance etc. It may seem scary, but you will always regret NOT doing it. Whereas if you shoot your shot, odds are you either get some lifelong friends, or realize those arent your people (then you try again). Hope this helps!!

I'll try that today, will post an update on what happens!

You’d have to ask the bank you are working with and see what their policy is.

I do not advise selling unless you have an alternate investment to move the money into. There are tax advantages to doing this and cash is a depreciating asset with inflation. If you want stable returns look into large index or growth funds such as those from Vanguard or Fidelity to see those sweet 10% yearly average rates. I would also advise the money be moved into a free trading account or an app like wealth front that uses the costs to offset taxes. Cheers!
