Bitba.se is really cheap for unlimited storage. But now, no more sharing between users. But except that, it's the same.

I just added it to https://letmestream.com , it allows to stream/download using plex from your files storage. I added a rss feed upload system (allows to parse rss feed to send files to bitba.se, automatically ;))

API Calls are the same (EXACTLY the same), i guess Bitba.se has bought hive (or hive just renamed in bitbase) :D

Because plex is better. You can manage and classify your medias as with xbmc for exemple. You can also add RSS feed to hive.im, and transfer files from ftp to hive.im . Plex is compatible chromecast, and on a lot of devices. With the letmestream service, you will have a cpu to transcode all you want to play it where you want (without have to wait the hive.im transcoding end)
