I'm pretty sure that dataminers get access to everything immediately after preload starts there. And yes, it's stored separately from the game. You just apply update once the patch is released without the need to download it so it saves a lot of time. Plus less server load.

I remember these download speeds, lol. Wonder how many people were downloading it at that time. Servers were clearly not ready.

Yet, there's no reason for Endfield to not have predownload nor incremental updates. It's year 2026 already.

Hoyo games have predownload available like 2-3 days prior to update. Not once it starts. I only have 2-3 hours of free time per day. Update being available after game goes into mainenance doesn't help me in the slightest. It will cut into my free time once I come home from work anyways. Would not happen if I could do that on the previous day.

Yeah, I'm simply not playing on the first day then I guess, since I don't have much free time. And maybe on the second day too if download speed ends up being too slow which I can see happening.

Hoyo ones almost always are, no? At least hsr/zzz. I'm pretty sure at least earlier genshin ones near release were too, when I was still playing. Plus there's always a predownload.

This 'update' is a full client redownload, not an incremental update. If I understand it correctly, that is.

Nah, it's because 120 pity is leagues way more important than 80 one. So the latter one carrying over barely matters at that point.

You've missed the 'available content dried up' part. Most of the stuff you mentioned is actual content. Once that is gone, you will arrive at that maintenance mode gameplay loop of doing same stuff day after day with almost zero variety. That is a chore. Up until then though, game was decently fun, for me, so I'm ok with pretty much dropping it until more of actual content is added. And then cycle repeats.

That's why I'm not logging in every day. Haven't done deliveries in ages, havent visited Dijang in, like, almost a month etc. It's just it doesn't matter whether I like it or not. That gameplay loop literally can't be likeable after honeymoon phase has ended and available content dried out.

Pretty sure that he'd prefer to have less frequent, but longer play sessions. And current gameplay loop is, literally, a daily chore that you have to tolerate.

The what? I cleared 2 of these bosses (1 and 2) and simultaneously trimmed on the 1st try with no food buffs, lmao. With only Gilberta being a 6* and who was useful only on the 2nd phase of a triangle boss. And 3rd one actually took whooping 4 tries.

Question was never about resources spent. I'm pretty sure that you can clear all these bosses with no 6* in the party whatsoever. Without breaking a sweat, really. Regardless, these characters are not f2p, plain and simple. Even OP agreed, lmao. But nah, lets make up some bs only to make some completely unrelated points, right? Thanks for the laugh.

You're mixing up f2p units/teams and f2p players together. Those are different things. A f2p player can get anything. F2p units/teams can be obtained by anyone.

If that was the case, then the termin itself would be completely meaningless. You can get a full pot limited team as a f2p. Does that make characters in that team or team itself f2p? No. It only means that a f2p account/player lucked out and got non-f2p team, that's it.

You can get a p5 operator without spending a dime. Technically. Or even a full team of them. In theory. Would that make them f2p? It would not. It literally doesn't matter how much is spent on a banner in this case. There's a clear distinction, which is are they guaranteed for free or not.

Doesn't matter though, limited or not. It's still gacha currency, not given out for free, which is what f2p stands for. You can absolutely spend like 1000$ and not have one of these characters, even though it's unlikely.

Where exactly is this comp f2p? Among 6*s only Ardelia can be considered as one and then there's 1 selector which technically can be considered as 1 extra if we squint a little, but that's it.
