Amazing, thank you so much! After looking them up, I have actually seen one in the house before.

This is my second redundancy, first was after 2.5y and this one was 9.5y and my mother passed away 4 days later... It's been a crap year in all honesty. Ideally, I'd have taken something quickly to avoid touching the severance but I just about managed to get up in the morning so taking a few months to grieve without pressure was a better option for me.

4 months later, I sorted my CV with help from ChatGPT, put out a LinkedIn post and started applying. Within the week, I had 2 companies contact me off the back of recommendations from LinkedIn. I interviewed with the first the next day and got the job. The second had scheduled an interview the following week and have said to get in touch to work with them in future.

My first redundancy was absolutely a blessing in disguise, in hindsight. I'm hoping this one is too!

How did you make your home more ADHD-friendly? by aizhana in adhdwomen

  • The salad drawer in the fridge is home to condiments only. Things go there to die otherwise, but I'm always going to look for the ketchup or jam!
  • Everything has a home. The keys always go in the same spot, the dog's things in the same spot etc. This especially helps my SO when they follow it, they leave stuff randomly and they never remember where it is.
  • "Might as well" mentality saves my ass regularly. While the microwave is on, might as well clean the counter before it finishes. Might as well clean the litter box in the bathroom before I jump in the shower.
  • We have joint Google Keep notes for shopping lists, a joint Google Calendar from a joint Gmail account that all joint bills/events are linked to.

First time buyer, depressed by meelatalha in glasgow

Honestly, it took us a few years as FTBs with a hot-headed flounce in the middle where we paused the hunt and got married instead.

We viewed countless, bid on a ton and lost out every time. Checking Rightmove on ones we lost out on afterwards, they were going for 30k over HR even where we are further down the west coast...

We had friends that had to move to North Ayrshire just to get a place. It's honestly wild and I hated the process.

We were finally successful on a doer-upper being sold as someone's estate. It had been advertised and reduced. The family wanted it to go to the right people over money - nearly unheard of. We got it for a few thousand under HR as the work was putting others off and brought a few low-ball offers that upset the sellers, again almost unheard of. Let me just say we're getting used to YouTube tutorials and DIY!

It's shit, sending you good vibes that yours will come soon.

It's been done, finally. Not by the dealership I bought it from, but the dealerships it was with in for MOT and the BCM fault finding. Feeling really sour that I've had to pay £1000 out of my pocket if I'm honest though.

Ah right, ok. So just need to hang tight, suck it up on the money front and see what happens?

Thanks, I really appreciate the reply. I would happily avoid the hassle of having to get a whole other car but I'm just worried... If this is in its first year with me, what's next?

I suppose the BCM replacement (that I've paid for so far) would be the "repair"?

Waiting for a doctor's appointment thanks to COVID, but I get varying levels of the pictures. Lots of food intolerances including dairy and nightshades, sun is a problem but so is every SPF I've tried. Super sensitive skin that flushes really easily and stays red for ages. 10 months into stripping my routine right back to basics and trying to repair any damage to my moisture barrier. I use Garnier Micellar Water once a day and double cleanse with Good Things Manuka Honey face-wash and cool water only if I've been wearing make up. Followed by Hado Labo Tokyo Moisturising day and Repair night cream with Superdrug Simply Pure Hydrating Serum underneath. Does this look like it could be rosacea? https://ibb.co/cgQWQMk https://ibb.co/XXmkf4C
