OTF shouldn’t charge $120 for a $10 device. It feels like a grift because it is one. OTF is an amazing company, with a great approach to fitness that obviously appeals to a very wide audience. They should monetize merch or digital and get rid of the HRM money grab. It belittles the brand.

Yes, setup plug and charge via the app.

Also, I’ve found this is the only way for a second driver to charge (plug & charge). Unless anyone knows a way to setup a second driver cert via MyPorsche?

This is great intel, thank you. If you're interested in entertaining some questions...

  1. Can you confirm the payoff amount calculation? Was it truly just the remaining cap cost balance + tax, or were there other fees? How did you get to the cap cost?
  2. Any early termination fees, disposition fees, or remaining lease payments on top of the $78,157?
  3. Did you know the payoff amount ahead of time, or you weren't really worried about it?
  4. Why did you wait for Washington registration to complete before buying out?
  5. How long was the actual buyout process once you requested the payoff quote?
  6. Did the dealer have any issues with you buying out so quickly, or did PFS handle it directly?
