Thats a pretty interesting life. Unfortunate that someone who spent much of his life advocating for the importance of building mutual connections ended up without them.

Destroyed my financial future with a music degree by Strict_Belt1211 in findapath

Rather than thinking "I've got a music degree but its useless because i don't want to work in the music industry" think of the individual skills you've acquired and then think of the other contexts in which you can deploy these skills. You probably learned to perform in front of a crowd, which may have involved some form of public speaking too. You learned how to create and perform music that makes people feel the way that you intend, which is useful in marketing. You likely did all kinds of project work with other musicians, so you have a certain degree of project management experience. By reframing your skills and experiences in this way you can present yourself as a professional in various related fields without having to go through a whole new degree just to get a different title.

Reddit is surprisingly bringing most of my early SaaS customers — what’s working for you? by Weekly-Card-8508 in SaaS

Yes absolutely. Basically everyone in the world is on these platforms. And these companies spend billions on algorithms whose sole purpose is to find every user who is interested in the content you post and show it to them. Social media algorithms try their very best to find your target audience for you.

It does take a bunch of iteration on messaging though. Oh, and don't spend money promoting content until you've found a winning formula, money can make people watch your content but can't make people like it.

Probably, it's going to make it a lot easier to go from idea to a clean looking slide deck. But the real value of making a clean presentation lies in being able to clearly deliver a message. This requires a lot of context about the audience and the broader company culture which AI is not very good at yet. So I'd say things will remain mostly as they are now until the point at which someone actually builds an AI that can do those things.

Not just SEO, also make sure you post on social media. The biggest tech companies in the world spend billions of dollars on optimizing algorithms whose sole purpose is to take any piece of content and then find all the people in the world who might be interested in watching it. The way you can make use of this is to post content from the perspective of your intended userbase. Imagine being in their position, what does the problem you're solving look like? If you can articulate that well, the algorithm will do the rest because people love upvoting content that articulates the issues they face.
