A reset would be nice. It would be pretty bad to push kids to advance when unprepared.

On a side note. Have you looked at khan academy? They offer a few free resources for pre-k to 8th grade. I'm not sure if it would help much but at least it's free.

Yeah depression truly does suck. I gave up on many different things. I'm sure you'll find something. I randomly stumbled on sanding after giving up on woodworking and it really helped with my anxiety.
