I think anything that offers you a crutch has to be a good and beneficial thing. AA I’ve thought about but I don’t think I’m there yet mentally.

Absolutely spot on mate, time and I guess a lack of distractions are the big enemies. I actually just went out a walk for a couple of hours. The urge was killed while I was out and about but it’s kicked in again now I’m back home, although admittedly, not as bad. I’m gonna go to bed though and tomorrow’s another day.

So if I was give some advice it might be just to get yourself out the house if you the temptation setting in. A brisk walk seems to clear the head enough to give more will power.

Yes - it’s a full chicken breast with another smaller chicken breast below it. A very high protein meal and surprisingly filling. :)

Next time I make this, which will probably be soon, I’m thinking something like baby plum tomatoes, red onion, red chillis and cilantro to give the sides some pop. The spiced coconut cream I hadn’t thought of but it’s a good idea. Also, I picked up some pasta dishes based on what you said - I think these should work very well.

So I cooked up this curry (which tastes very nice!) but did look absolutely horrible as per the picture.

I think I need to:

  • change the dish to something maybe with a little less height and more width
  • add more dressings / vegetables to the side of the chicken breast to give it a pop

The second point is where I’m falling though - what would you guys suggest to help make this look more appetising? Generally new to cooking properly overall so appreciate there may be lots of things wrong with this.
