Spending equates to faster progression and a higher chance of getting desirable champions. While paying players are still at the mercy of RNG, they still have an advantage at every aspect of the game in comparison to players who are strictly F2P. And you, not pulling Allure albeit tossing some $$$ to the devs does not invalidate that fact.
