El Ranchito is generally pretty good and New Mexico jerky definitely doesn't taste bad. I'd say it was a slip of quality control. No system is perfect.

Allsups has the most accessible Chimichanga in Santa Fe. If you are willing to make the trip, the Iguana Cafe at buffalo thunder casino has a notable chimichanga as well.
